Default Moving from One State to Another

My daughter's father moved to TX from FL and I am moving to NC from FL. My question is how do I transfer my case from FL to NC or do I have to go court to change the location to where I will be living at be I will be leaving from FL going to NC in Sept and would like to know what I have to do to transfer my case from one state to another state and which state would jurisdiction if my daughter was born in FL?

You would need to be in NC for six months and establish residency and then after six months transfer the case under the UCCJEA. having a lawyer would be helpful.
