My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: NJ
I signed the subject with my IT Service Provider firm a few years after I joined. This restricts me from working for a 'client' of my employer for a period of 1-year after employment with the employer ends. For all practical purposes these will be enforceable.
What are the negotiable ways to get out of these non's (waiver) so as to work for anyone?
1) Do I have to get a letter from HR?
2) Do I have to get some legal document from HR/Employer Lawyer?
3) Do I have to pay some 'dues' for it?
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks.
