Default What is the Simplest Way to End a Marriage

To begin with I'd like to reiterate that this is pertaining to the state of Pennsylvania.
A friend of mine she got married to a guy a year or two ago in the state of Pennsylvania. She and the guy moved to South Carolina then. Just 2-3 months after the marriage though the guy abandoned her in South Carolina and moved back to Pennsylvania. So in other words 2-3 months after they were married in Pennsylvania and moved to South Carolina they became officially separated. Since moving back to Pennsylvania the guy has had numerous serious relationships with different women. My friend she just wants to get out of the marriage, in the simplest way possible. Financially she has little to no money so any options that keep cost to an absolute minimum would be best. She doesn't want anything from the guy at all. She just wants out of the marriage. She currently has no job and resides with her mother in SC still. The guy has a full-time job and resides in the state of PA. Both parties want the marriage ended.

How does she need to proceed to end the marriage legally?
What is the simplest, most cost effective way to go about this?
Could the marriage be annulled or something since after only 2-3 months the guy abandoned her and went to another state?

    Thank you for your time.

Annulment is not really an option.

Sorry I made a mistake. They got married in PA but I didn't realize wherever your permanent address is determines what state laws you fall under. So it'd be South Carolina's laws for her not Pennsylvania's. Is that correct?

    Annulment still not an option.
