Default Change of Venue for Child Support to a Different County

had some questions about change of venue, my wife has daughter and has a case on her baby father. Custody was 50/50 but now is 80/20 favor of my wife now. We want to do a change of venue cause where the case was made we haven't lived in that county for 3 years. Now that we have her more we think it's best to have the case in our county so when we have to make changes or reinforce the current order we don't have to travel an hour and half to go to the court. I wanted to know if anyone had the same experience and could shed some light on it and what are the best reason to tell the judge why we want to move the venue that actually work. Thank u

When you opened this space to write your message did you think this was here to just display a pretty font?

"My question involves ... in the State of:"

All I can suggest is you go on to your county family court website and look for forms and instructions on how to transfer the case to your county.

    1) NOT YOUR CHILD.
    2) You have no right to make any changes or reinforce the court order.
    3) You don't have to travel at all.
    4) You are overstepping.
    5) You have no right to tell the judge anything.
    6) Not your legal business.

No, we're not horrible. We just need appropriate information before being able to help. You wasted a lot of time by not paying attention to the request for your state. Could have been done with this before now.

    Anyway, here is the form:

    http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl300.pdf

    Here's the instructions:

    http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/fl300info.pdf

Here's a sample of what the order will look like when the judge rules on your request:

If your wife has difficulty with the forms, each court has a Family Law Facilitator that can help:
