Default Re: When to Expect a Hearing on a Custody Case

My son finally heard from his lawyer...after sending yet another email. She states the judge is requesting copies of his bank statements, copy of his cell phone records, payroll records and copy of my bank statements, cell phone bills. My cell phone is a pay as you go. Some months if money was tight I would not refill minutes. I have nothing to hide but why am i being told to stay out of it and now they want my personal information? This information has been turned over to them months ago. Medical records were forwarded..and he,was charged to get these records and charged by the GAL to review them all...now we are doing this again? Is this a tactic on the parents part to stall? Also, I have sent many sincere emails to the grandmother. One on mother's day, another one on their daughters birthday...stating I am thinking about them. I also inquired about the size of clothing he is,wearing since he has a birthday coming up and I wanted to send down a box of goodies for him. No reply. They cannot say we have not tried to keep in touch.

Admittedly this does sound troublesome. If the GAL had more or less decided on their recommendation, I'm wondering why this is going the way it seems to be going.

I do have a question (which may have been answered already). Is your son emailing the parents? Or is it just you?

Yes, my son has left messages on her phone...but no response. I reviewed the 22page, 30 question list their lawyer has generated. They want phone records..naming who was called, or calls received. Pharmacy records, doctor/hospitalization records, name of person who registered him at hotel in SC. The list goes on and on.
