Default Can a State Make an Outstanding Warrant Extraditable After an Arrest in Another State

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida, Arizona

I got charged with growing pot in the panhandle of florida in a pretty small town, i then got on probation and left the state to arizona, i have been all good for 2 years and have been pulled over but told the warrant is non extraditable...however recently i got arrested for stealing from walmart and am worried florida will change there mind or my charges here will be stricter because of that. can i be on probation in 2 states at the same time? is there any way i can contact florida and try to reason with them saying to add to transfer my probation here and let me get it all out of the way....im tired of running but dont want to do any prison time.

If it was a small town in Florida, they aren't likely to change the extradition status of the warrant. It would cost a lot of money a small town probably doesn't have to come get you in Arizona. If you absconded from probation in Florida, they are not going to now allow you to transfer it to another state now. It also creates another problem for you. The Arizona court will see how you view probation and will probably throw you in jail instead since you could just run on them too. That or they could put you on super intensive probation where your life is either home or work and nothing else, with weekly or more often home visits or required check ins at the probation office.

over a shoplifting charge for a person that already has a record of failing to abide by the terms of probation when offered said rather than being incarcerated; yes.

You screwed the pooch when you left Florida without fulfilling your terms of probation or seeking to have it transferred to another state. Now you look like what you are; a criminal that has no respect for the law

If you were on probation in Florida, Florida can now revoke your probation and put you in jail for that.
