Thanks for your reply. To clarify, I am moving to North Carolina from another state. New York is not involved at all.
So, the worst case scenario would be that I would still have to go through the revocation and reinstatement process in North Carolina if my current state doesn't revoke until after I've made the move? I don't see anything illegal in doing this. Am I wrong? I just need to decide if it makes more sense to go through process in my current state or North Carolina.
