...And if you're just trying to visit, why not ask for a travel pass?
They aren't going to make it a felony, but they certainly can violate you and issue a warrant for your arrest and bring you back and revoke your probation and send you to jail.
As others have pointed out, getting permission to travel or even to transfer probation is fairly routine for those in good standing with their probation. Absconding is bad and you've likely blown your chances at such consideration.
