My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA
What happens when the non-custodial parent seeking 50/50 does not show up for a drug/alcohol screen assigned by the mediator?

The crystal ball is out for calibration, sorry.
Seriously - we don't know how your judge and/or GAL will treat the no-show.
The mediator might ask that the party reschedule and attend the screening. The mediator might try to proceed without the evaluation. The mediator might decide that the mediation is going to fail. Depending on the court, if the mediation fails the mediator may be invited to submit a recommendation to the court.
