My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: New York. I am currently on an ACD for misdemeanor possession charges. My job is going to hire me as a full time career employee and i am wondering what will show up during a background check and if this can be used while hiring me. Technically I am already employed and have no break in employment. I actually won't have the check run until after my status changes. I am wondering what will show up and how to handle the situation.
