    Default Property Dispute

I need some advise, My neighbor is disputing the property line even though There is a survey Pipe clearly visible. We have a Survey that we had done when we moved in. We planted a flower garden about a foot on our side of the Pipe. Other than the Police what can we do to ensure he stays on his side. We have showed him the pipe. Is there someone other than the cops that I can call to get this resolved.

How is he not "staying on his side?" A fence works wonders. The police will usually not get involved. Other option is to have an attorney send him a letter.

A couple of days ago my neighbor drove his truck thorough my flower bed which was clearly on my side. We had a space of about a foot.

Put in sharp metal spikes throughout your garden that can not be seen and the next time he does a *yard job* on your pansies he will have to replace his tires.

What State? Do you have a survey mao that authenticates the pipe that you consider to be your corner marker? A barrier (fence) might do it. Even a short garden fence will serve as notice without stirring up too much trouble. If they drive over it and destroy it, the fight is on. Then get a surveyor first to see if the pipe is right; then a fence man to put in a substantial barrier. Maybe a lawyer next.
