My question involves an easement in the state of: South Carolina
I own two properties which were once part of a single property (total 5.4 acres), now split into three parcels. The original property was rectangular, split into A, B and C. I own A and C. Originally there was a "road" that ran from A thru B to C, including a bridge (now gone, but was on A). When the middle section was sold, an easement for ingress, egress and utilities was created on that survey. It runs along the northern 25' of all properties. I don't think it was ever used. We have fenced and gated the front of our roadside parcel. The center property is owned by an estate in probate. How should we handle supplying a key to the estate? The land is still listed as belonging to the deceased.
Thanks for any guidance.
