Default Do You Have to Record a Power of Attorney With a Government Agency

My question involves a power of attorney in the state of:CA
My POA authorizes my agent to sell my home if necessary. Does CA require that I have my POA recorded with an government agency due to this provision? If so where do I have it recorded?
    Thank you

No, it just needs to specifically state the attorney in fact has that authority and that you signed it either before a notary or two other recorded witnesses. A similar provision exists for healthcare decisions.
