Default Will a College Revoke Admission Due to Criminal Charges

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

    Hello all,

I am asking this question for one of my friend's. He recently got admitted to the college of his dreams, however, he also was arrested about a month back. He is facing a possible misdemeanor or felony charge, depending on what the prosecutor files it as.

    Now there are 2 scenarios,

    A) The case might be dismissed because it was a very minor, insignificant incident.

    B) he might be convicted of either a felony or misdemeanor charge.

In either cases, can his admission to his dream college be revoked? How and when would he have to disclose his conviction? Does he have to at all?

    Thank you

You need to ask the college.

If you are asking if it CAN be revoked, the answer is yes, it can.

If you are asking if it WILL be revoked, the answer is sorry, the EL crystal ball is out being recalibrated

one of those things is not true. "minor", "insignificant" incidents do not result in felony charges.
