My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana
A relative with a bad history wants to be bailed out of a county jail in Dearborn, Indiana. We want to help, but we want an assurance that the relative will not abscond or bring trouble. This person is fine with house arrest and/or having a GPS locator installed.
Is there a mechanism to make that a condition of bail? Can the inmate request a GPS locator cuff? Alternatively, are there do-it-yourself models available?
