Default How to Obtain Transcripts from a Criminal Court

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Az

Can ANYONE tell me, what form I am to fill out for a inmate that was told to fill out a "POST CONVICTION RELIEF" form, to show they are indigent, so they can get court records without having to pay for them?
This inmate is not mentally or neurologically capable of doing this, I am TRYING to help them, but do not know what form to get for them.
The court told me to call the public defender, as they must handle this.
Public Defender states they don't do that. To call Public Defenders office.
Public Defenders office tells me THEY don't do that, to go to a site to get those forms.
That site has four forms, but I do NOT know which one I am to use.
PLEASE, can anyone give me any insight?
The forms available, are listed below.
    Thank you

Found these in a self service court site for the county the inmate is in, but am not sure if they need to fill out one of each? Or all of them.

    Notice of Post Conviction Relief
    Petition for Post Conviction Relief
    Financial Affidavit PCR
    Request Preparation of PCR

As you've been told time and time again, the best thing you can do for your relative is hire an attorney. Beg or borrow the money. Pawn your TVs, jewels and car titles. But this is NOT a DIY project.
Don't make me quote Monty Python at you.

Unfortunately, BooRennie, some people don't have all those options. I am disabled. I do not have the luxuries of owning material items to sell.
    thanks

If your relative is indigent, your relative can (or could have) petitioned for a court-appointed lawyer. If your relative chooses (or chose) not to do so despite qualifying, he is going to have a very tough time coming up with a way to get the state to cover his costs. If he is not indigent, he can pay for the transcripts himself.

You have provided no procedural context for what the inmate hopes to do, which means it's effectively impossible for anybody here to make suggestions.

    Thank you Mr. Knowitall,
The inmate is mentally & neurologically impaired. He is indigent. He does not understand the protocol for doing this.
I will go to the courthouse with these forms, and ask them to help me with them. The transcripts are necessary, as his/her rights were violated.
Proof is in the transcripts. A mental health group, and the inmates neurologist is working with me.
Thank you for your reply.. I will move forward by going to the court.

You need to be seeking out any pro bono attorneys or mental health rights groups that might be able to assist you with this.

The court may not be able to help you as the clerks aren't allowed to give legal advice.

    Thank you very much free9man,
I appreciate this information. I hadn't even thought about seeking out pro bono attorneys. I do have some mental health groups that have reached out, and are wanting to help. They are helping some now, and in turn, I've educated them a lot in the areas they weren't aware of. I've dealt with the mental illness, and the neurological disorder for so long, that I have learned a lot. It's the legal areas that I get up against the wall at times.
I appreciate ALL the input I get in here, I'm grateful for everyone's help.
Thank you. I will check into the pro bono attorneys.
