    Default Termination After Getting Sick During Vacation

    In Florida. If an employee of over a year with no discipline issues at the job puts in for vacation 7days. receives vacation 7 days gets sick on vacation day 2. ends up in severe medical condition with documented significant bleeding and is put on medical leave for 2 weeks. On day 6 of vacation after medication doctors treatment electrolytes etc is able to get to work and provide work with such and during day 3 of vacation/being sick a new manager is put in place says upon arrival day 6 vacation/being sick she never heard of any vacation and being sick is no reason not to be in work ever. to get lost and never come back she doesnt want to be infected/bothered. This is a corporate company. Is this allowed. Is it true that Florida is a right to work state that one may be terminated for no reason?
