Trial by Written Declaration After Requesting Traffic School

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I was planning to contest this ticket by written declaration. Just to try. If it didn't work, then I was going to sign up for traffic school. My dad signed me up for traffic school without telling me, so now I am just wondering if I can still contest this ticket by written declaration after being signed up for traffic school. It does say on my notice that signing up for traffic school is not an admission of guilt. So how would I get the forms and other things necessary to dispute by written declaration?

How did you get into traffic school without first pleading "guilty" or "no contest?"

You may want to contact the court because it's possible, then, that dad effectively entered your plea of guilty online if he was able to register for traffic school. Or, maybe, he signed you up for a class that may not be valid because you have not yet been convicted.

What do you mean he "signed you up for traffic school?" If you means he voluntarily enrolled you, it has ZERO effect on your current citation. Anybody can take traffic school for their personal enrichment (and some insurance companies will give you some break on rates if you do).
