    Default Time Limits on Enforcing a Divorce Judgment

    My question involves a marriage in the state of: Missouri . Divorce was final in July 2007 .I was awarded a Judgment of 5,000 from former spouse . Is there a time limit on collecting or her paying ??

    It's usually in the paperwork, but this is really pushing things beyond reasonable.

    In fact, it's been so long that you might not be able to collect at all. I do think you should sit down with a local attorney to see what s/he thinks.
