    Okay.

That's not actually a standard clause, but one which can be added. It generally only restricts you until the divorce is finalized - after that, no-go.

Now, let's be honest - if your friend is sleeping in your room, it's not unreasonable to assume she's your girlfriend. With that said, one more question. do you have a FOC assigned?

FOC? We sleep in the same room as my brother and his girlfriend sleep in the living room and my daughter and her daughter share a room and my son has his own room. We don't sleep in the same bed. The temporary spousal support is court ordered already. I've studied for the GED test and would pass it but coming up with the $150 for the test is the issue. The $40 every 2 weeks pays for household supplies and gas right now. I have a job lined up as a pizza delivery driver but right now gas is the issue. Talked to my lawyer today and found out she fired her lawyer and got a new one. As for the room mate we both stated we are not in a relationship and my ex has already met her boyfriend. Just a bad situation and I offered to let her stay instead of going to a homeless shelter. She has a certificate for home health care, no luck finding work though.

I have my GED. I took a pre-test and passed it, which entitled me to receive a waiver of the fee for the real test.

Granted that was a lot of years ago, but I can't see most states not still offering that option.

I would also look into any programs offered by community colleges in your area for adults looking to re-enter the workforce after a significant life change. One of the community colleges in my area has a program like the above, specifically for men, that's completely free.

I'll bet there's something like that in your area too. It would get you on track to be able to do better than a minimum wage job.

    Good luck.

FOC = Friend of court. A Michigan specialty.

You can read here - and if there wasn't one already assigned, that would sure as heck be my next move if necessary.
