    Default Harassment Across State Lines

My question involves criminal law for the state of: NJ/FL

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me out. I had been friends with a girl (lets say her name is Francesca) who lived in NY and moved to FL (I live in NJ). Over the last 6 months she has tried to escalate our platonic relationship into something more, engaging in flirty behavior via text/skype. Anyway 2 months ago I met a girl I really like, and cut off communication with Francesca after she wouldnt stop with the dirty texts.
It got to the point that i had to change my phone numbers, but somehow she found out about my sister and where she works, and started calling her job and harassing her, until the police in that town called Francesca and told her to stop. Then she's been calling my job, making all types of untrue wild accusations about me. My job has their own PD unit, thats probably the 3rd police report that has been filed about this woman.
I filed out the 2nd report in my local town, and am moving forward filing harassment charges against her. Unfortunately every cop tells me if she doesnt show, not much will happen. She'll have a warrant out for her arrest in NJ, but if she never comes here not much will happen, and she could probably continue doing what shes doing.
If she fails to answer the summons issued by the judge, what is the next course of action? Call the FBI? Lawyer? Any advice appreciated.

If she is charged and is notified of the court proceeding, but fails to appear, the court will issue a bench warrant. It will be up to the prosecutor to decide whether to register it as an interstate warrant. The FBI won't have any interest in enforcing the warrant, save perhaps in the unlikely event that she happens into their custody on some other matter and they find a warrant calling for interstate pickup.

thanks for the feedback. one of the things i wanted to mention was that i never knew her address in florida, so when the police reached out to her by phone, she gave an address to them of where she can be found. not only did she give an NY address, but the street doesnt even exist in the town she mentioned. What will happen after i file charges and the motions are mailed for her to appear? I assume the post office will return them, and then what? Should i tell the court what i know?
