    Default Skipping out on charges

    If a crime was committed and the person has not been charged but posably will be, if they skipped out without yet being charged would there be a limatation on it.thank you for any info provided

    It will depend on state law. In many states the statute of limitations will stop running if you leave the state. Also you don't have to be present in the state to be charged, nor do the police or prosecutor have to know where you are, so your absence won't stop you from being charged.
