My question involves traffic court in the State of: CA
If you lose a trial by declaration, is there anyway to learn any of the details of the decision, such as whether or not the officer actually responded, and if so, what he said/wrote? Seems like there should be a requirement for the court to provide proof of the response if I request it somehow. Otherwise, what's to stop the person reviewing my letter from just saying "officer didn't respond? Screw that, we want that $$$. GUILTY."
