Not at all sure you'll have whistle blower protections. But I would say, find out what happens when you tell them you don't feel comfortable doing this. If they say, "Do it, or be fired!" that's very different from your just up and quitting. But if they say, "That's okay, we just thought we'd ask. Do it as you want to." then some of your problems are solved for the time being. I would make big efforts to get straight away from anyone who asked me to do anything that was illegal or unethical, and if they fire you, so much the better. That's a very good reason to be approved for unemployment. But be sure that you have tried to solve the problem BEFORE quitting. If they don't, if they say, "oh, okay, whatever, " still be looking for another job because these are not people you wanted to be affiliated with on the long term.
