Hell-o! I desperately need some advice. I live in Arkansas and have a granddaughter 7 years of age. She has not seen her paternal grandparents for a year or more nor does she want to see them. There was an incident 3 years ago when my granddaughter told me that her half-brother "made her kiss his peepee", I turned this into DHS and nothing was done, people came to my home and told me they believed my granddaughter but no report was filed. The child's father told my daughter that the boy confessed to it, yet nothing was done. We do not feel comfortable with our granddaughter going to see them under these circumstances. I spoke to the grandmother and brought this issue up and she became very hostile and said "well just keep the damned kid". Now they are trying again to see her. All we are thinking about is the psychological affects this may have on our granddaughter. We do not know what we can do legally and are afraid they may try to take this to court. This is not an "I win, you loose" situation, this is all about our granddaughter's state of mind. Plus they still want her around this step-brother who is now 10 years old and has received no counseling. Can someone please help us! Thank you. A scared Memaw
