My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas, Dallas County
My lot has a portion of a penisula behind my house but I cultivate, mow, water (sprinkler system) most of the lot. I have lived in my house for 7 years. I had previously tried to buy it from the owner who does not maintain any portion of it, but his lender would not let him.
How can I best go about obtaining this lot finally, legally as mine? The lot in question is LOT 30 on DCAD. http://dcadmaps.dallascad.org/websit...00010270000%27
I do not necessarily want all of lot 30, just the portion that I maintain.
Any advice greatly appreciated. I do not have lots of funds to spend on this but would like to be civil as possible and do it the "right" way.
