    Default Repossession by a Title Loan Company

    My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: virginia

    Is there a time limit for a title loan company to take possession of your vehicle

    I am refering to title loans and.the fact that i was in default since.december and in febuary the title loan co. stated that the were going to repossess my car but havr not gotten it what can i do can i reclaim it

    No lender ever has to repossess. They can choose instead to try to collect the money that you owe.

    If they stated that they were going to repossess but chose not to do so, you can seek to 'reclaim' the vehicle from whomever has it in their possession. How you might do so would depend upon who they are and the rest of the facts.
