I just wanted to add something. I can't answer for anything he did. I have no idea. When my daughter went in to get her baby she turned her over and immediately realized that she was deceased. She hysterically called 911. At some point someone either directed him to perform CPR or told her to relay the information.

We now know it was all an act. We didn't know he was responsible for her death until they arrested him 3 days later. We're law enforcement and had we known ....

We believe he thought he was going to get away with it. That same day he even called his uncle a well known local pastor and had him meet all of us at thier apartment for prayer. He cried with us, consoled my daughter even went to the psychiatrist with us when I took my daughter. I was really afraid my daughter was going to have a break down so I called the psychiatrist.

I'm concerned about this felony child endangerment charge though. If they're not taking her to trail how does this work? How does one go to trail and the other doesn't? And if they think she knew that there was some abuse going on and she says she never saw it, wouldn't they want her to go to trail?

Does she have a lawyer? We don't know the basis of the child endangerment charge, or why it would not go to trial. (Are you anticipating a plea bargain?)

No, I'm just speculating. I don't have anything to go on. We don't know enough about anything, I've just read where people take these plea bargains and we wouldn't advise and she won't plead guilty to something she's not guilty of. I literally feel like that little icon on the right hand side. Like I'm bumping my head against a wall. I'm just going to have to wait. I don't have a choice.

You are in a frustrating position with legal situation and grieving loss of grandaughter. I feel badly for you.
