Default Re: Pulled Over by an Off-Duty Officer for Running a Red Light

Guys please understand, i do say that i can be a prick, ass etc, but the night in question, and most anytime i get pulled over, or interact with the police, i am very respectful. I do guarantee you this officer did get highly pissed due to the fact i did ask for a supervisor or marked unit. For the ones who know the area, i was pulled over wher north point turns into erdman ave. Very secluded, not a good area.

And you got cited. Many citations can be averted with a proper attitude. Your actions and your demeanor likely added to the likelihood of your getting a citation. At this point, you can go to court and argue you never ran the light or hope the detaining officer never shows and you win by default, or, you can save yourself time and days off work and pay the fines. Your call.
