Default Can You Run Away from a Residential School and Get Emancipated

I live in New Mexico, and I am 16 years old. My guardian sent me to a military school because that is what she thought I wanted. She won't let me go back home, if I decide not to come back she will sent across the country. I have a fiancee and we plan to get married. I would not live with my fiancee i would live with my brother and his family. I have a job and my grades are very good. Could I get emancipated in order to stay in my home-town?

No. That is not a valid reason for emancipation in any state.

In what state are you attending military school?

In what state do you reside (i.e. what state do your parents reside in?)

No, but you might ask your brother to talk to your guardian to see how your guardian would feel about you living with your brother.

It seems the issue is OP wants to be near her BF and does not care what her guardian thinks.
