    Default Can You Sue a County for Wasting Your Time

    I live in California stay in san bernadino and been going back and forth once a month sometimes twice a month for a trial i been going for over a year that i didnt do and someone told me i can counter sue LA county for waste of time and milage and couple other things is this true?

    You haven't shared any relevant facts, but -- realistically, no, you're not going to recover for your time or mileage and you are probably not going to recover for any other expenses, but the devil is in the details. You should to discuss the matter with the lawyer who is assisting you with your case.
