    Default Is a Guardian ad Litem Allowed to Give Advice to One Parent

    My question involves a child custody case from the State of: wi Is it legal for the gal to give advice to one parent. The majority of the time theirs an issue my ex go to out children's gal for advice. I didn't think that was ok

    What kind of advice?

    When my case was still open I occasionally sought the opinion of the GAL on certain issues. It didn't seem out of the ordinary to do so.
