I'm wondering if there are any specific laws in Washington state about public officials taking public documents home to work on them. Thank you for your help.

I can't imagine there is any law that would prevent public officials from bringing documents home, to a restaurant, or even to Starbucks to review or work on them. There's no such law in my state, and I cannot imagine a reason WA might have one.
Why would that be an issue for you???

You should not have started another thread when I think this is still about that poster survey at the BOE.
You have not been reading up and understanding the links on the Open Public Meetings Act that have been previously posted.
A single member of a Public body can pretty much do what they want. It is when a quorum of the body gets together where the law applies.
A poster presented at a meeting is not a public record.
My apologies for starting a new thread. Thank you for the information.
