    Default Misdiagnosis of Bipolar Disorder

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Colorado

Hello I had a question regarding my Bi-polar diagnosis, if it was a misdiagnosis or fraud or something else.
I had a problem at an employer I was working at that ended up in an emergency room visit.
Working with my parents I ended up going to a Psychiatrist within 2 weeks of the ER visit.
2 Weeks later I was prescribed an anti-psychotic
over the next year I was prescribed 7 more pharmaceuticals, more anti-psychotics, SSRI, benzos, thryroid, anti-epileptic.
I was not on disability while unemployed for 1 year 4 months.
The next job I go to I end up filing workman's comp for my wrists and lower back and another ER visit.
My Mormon parents kicked me out without 30 days notice or an eviction process 2 times causing me to work injured, unaccomadted, without a doctors note.

Anyways my questions is, Was my Bi-Polar diagnosis a misdiagnosis, or psychiatric fraud.

The whole story is posted on this website in a different fourm, I didn't know where to post it.

I don't want to discourage you from looking for help, but this is not the right board for you. This is a legal board and you are not asking a legal question - you are asking a medical question. Whether your diagnosis is or is not correct, is not a matter where the law takes a stand. You would need to find a medical forum to answer.

You might want to try asking your question here:

    I wish you well.

You can discuss your past diagnoses with your present medical care providers.

If you want to have your case reviewed for malpractice, you need to get your medical records together and try to find a law firm that is willing to review them based on your allegations.

    Hi, Mister Smith!

You seem to have had the most awful episodes and I know from experience that those things can really affect your mind and body. But don't give up - you will find some help somewhere, somehow. It's also important that you know we believe you, and we acknowledge that you've had a difficult time.

I've done a bit of research and I think these sites may help you a bit:

    http://www.namicolorado.org/

    https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/hcp...ts-waiver-cmhs

    http://www.metrocrisisservices.org/

    And here's one more: http://www.aspenpointe.org/

Stay strong, Mr. Smith. There IS help for you!
