I live in Idaho and I'm 16
If I ran away...didn't get caught but then contacted my parents or came back to Idaho once I was 18 would I still get in legal trouble?

Since Idaho is one of the few states where it is a crime to run away from home, I wouldn't be surprised. What's more, anyone you stayed with could find themselves in jail.
Idaho seems to classify running away from home as a status offense. "Status offenses are truancy, running away from or being beyond the control of parents, guardian, or legal custodian and curfew violations." Idaho Statutes, Sec. 20-516(1)(c). Once you reach the age of majority you would not longer be subject to prosecution for a status offense.
Is there another statute?
Though, I suspect that - as suggested by cbg - the people that assist you remaining out of the control of your parents can still face prosecution even after you turn 18. Their crime doesn't go away when you turn 18.
