My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California. My tenant has done a 180 and we are in the process of evictions her. So she does all these things to upset us such as leave our door open at night which I believe is putting our lives in danger for one. Someone can come in and do harm. She has intentionally raised our electricity bill. She rents a room in our home and when she leaves, she leaves all the lights available to her on for hours since we aren't home it's hard to turn them off. Like the the hallway, her room, the family room, the kitchen and the porch light. She has doubled our bill. Slams the doors disturbing everyone around her and leaves trash on our front lawn. I can hear her throwing things out her window. One last thing we believe she is taking her feces and throwing it out her window into the front of our rose bed because it is numerous amounts of it. We feel that she is mentally unstable and it's scary to think since she lives in our home. We would like to know if we can sue her for the damages such as raising our electricity bill, endangering our lives, lowering property value and creating waste?
