    Default Re: Florida Emancipation Laws

Would I be able to be emancipated, I've been living with my grandmother because my house was not fit for me. My mother is still getting a child support check for me even though I have not been with her for about two years. Im doing much better with my grandmother and I do not want my mother getting a check anymore or her to just decide to make me move back in with her. Would this be enough?

No, not even remotely. That is not even close to what emancipation means.

Does your grandmother have legal custody of you?
