My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Michigan.
I am just wondering if a background check could show a place I worked at for 5 days (also seasonal)?
Long story short and I do mean short since I have requested to review my file and add a statement.
- Scheduled for a Tues. morning.
- Me and another person arrive for scheduled shift. We called, I emailed....
- Oops, they VERBALLY changed the schedule to a different day. (So that is two of us who are not aware of this). And we are not all working JUST one assigned area, but multiple....
- Show up for next shift, work 3 hours, get fired for no-call/no-show on the day mentioned above (oh, this is Holiday shift after it settled down).
So anyway....since I obviously won't put this place on my resume....is this something that say....1 year from now...2 years from now...someone can do a background check and go "hey, this person worked here, let's call 'em up?"
Thanks.
