My question involves name change laws in the State of: Washington.

I'm ready to start a new life. Please don't ask me why. I will say that I'm not doing this to escape debt or abuse or anything. Here's the deal:

I'm eighteen years old and I have a completely clean record. I already don't have credit; thus I am not attempting to run from bad credit. I am not a victim of fraud; nor am I trying to get away with fraud.

Now that that's out of the way (I stated it as clearly as possible as I do realize that many name changing/social security number changing instances involve these), we know that a name change is completely legal and obtainable for me.

However, I am here to question the legality and possibility of a name change after committing pseudocide (faking my death). Like I said previously: please don't ask why. I'm not here to explain that.

I'm here to find out how I can disappear completely with no questions asked and nothing able to follow me. I recognize that in this electronic world that we live in, it's impossible to disappear from everything. But I would like to know if it's legal. I'd also like to know about how it works out with social security. I know that my social security number won't change from this, as I am not under domestic abuse nor am I a victim of identity theft. I'd like to know if this is even really a possibility--to fake my death and start a brand new life elsewhere. The alternative solutions if a plan like this one or something similar are not ideal for anybody.

What am I looking at here? Opinions? Thoughts? Ideas? Perspectives? Anything.

Thanks a lot.
