Default Can a Store Require You to Work When You Are Sick from Pain

I had major pain when I went to work. the pain got worse I ask the assistant store manager to get someone else to close that night and they keep saying I don't know what to do and was worrying about over time. every time he asked was I ok I told him no I was in pain. All I keep getting was I don't know. I'm in a Lead position so I could not just walk out. Is there any thing I can do?

Assuming you're in the US, nobody can force you to work against your will. But if you go home early in pain, they have the right to fire you.

That is the bottom line. It is not unusual for a a store to demand a little more from its employees Black Friday weekend until Xmas. Many employees will find excuses as to why they cannot work until 11 pm or so. A manager handles these issues on a case by case basis. If you suffer from a particular ailment, ask your doctor write a note explaining its presence and some managers will try to work around it when possible.
