Doesn't matter a whit. Unless you have evidence, and I mean real evidence that would hold up in a court of law, that the boss KNEW at the time he recruited you that he was going to eliminate the position, you've got nothing. And it's not a great case even if you do. Since EVEN IF HE DID he didn't do anything illegal, and the best you could hope for IF YOU HAD THAT KIND OF PROOF would be a breach of contract.
