You are intentionally ignoring my point. You claim you could not get into the parking lot, yet your co workers it appears had no problem leaving on the same driveway. This indicates you parked on the street because you are a poor driver, afraid of snow. If you chance across the same situation again, might I suggest you swing wide into the so it is approached at almost a straight angle, accelerate before hitting the snow. If you car gets stuck, stop immediately and back up through the path you made. Again accelerate forward gradually building up speed and plow your way farther into the drive. Repeat as need until your car reaches a parking space.

I remember the Geo Metro I had. I would enter a heavily snowed drive and keep it moving forward until parked. Then it would sink into the snow. I always had to know the lot would be plowed so I could leave.
I said that I was the only one to be towed for parking on the street because I stayed overnight. The coworker that held the shift prior to me was parked on the street, and wasn't towed because he didn't stay overnight.

If you want to ram the front end of a car with a 6 inch ground clearance (06 Honda civic) into a 2 foot snowbank and crack the radiator, get stuck, and call the tow on yourself, be my guest. Or you can continue to poorly read comments, assume the writer doesn't know how to drive in Minnesota snow, and try to teach them how to park.
