Question Can Somebody Who Gave You a Gift Sue You for Selling It

My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: Virginia. If my mother bought me a vehicle as an gift, and my name was on the title when I sold it, does she have grounds to sue me?

In a word: No. A gift is a gift. You're free to dispose of it as you see fit. If your name is the sole one on the title, then it was yours to transfer.
