Default 4th Amendment Waiver for Misdemeanor Probation

    Live in Calif.
was convicted of a misdemeanor, non drug related, non violent, no jail, just informal probation of 2 years.
Informal probation with 4th waiver clause. I was told by, that the 4 waiver clause should not have been included with the probation, because it was
    a misdemeanor. Is that true?

No, it is not true. A 4th Waiver can be tied to probation even for a misdemeanor - particularly if it was theft related.

What offense were you convicted of?
