Default Will a Theft Accusation Get Discharged in Bankruptcy

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Nevada

I hAve officially filed bankruptcy and I put all my creditors as well as my ex girlfriend who sued me 6 years ago claiming I took her stuff. My lawyer told me that I will get this discharged and not to worry about it no longer but I just wanted to find out from others if that is indeed true. Everything I read says yes but I still have the 25% garnishment black cloud in the back of my mind. Can someone please answer this silly question for me.

    Thank you!

Your girlfriend sued you six years ago in Nevada, claiming larceny? Should we infer that the judge found that you stole her belongings, and awarded damages that were predicated on an act of intentional misconduct? Does the judgment from the case reflect any such finding, or does it merely reflect that the plaintiff won a judgment and recite an amount?

Bascially she sued me Civilly in District court.. when I moved out she claims I cleaned the house out. She won upon an arbitration award because I never showed to court. Dumb me I know but my mom passed away and I didnt really want to deal with anything. We got back together later that year and actually had a baby and then split up again. now that shes poor shes trying to collect the judgement after 5.5 years. So I spoke to my lawyer and he said to file it in bankruptcy and shell be gone. I am just a worry wart so I am unsure.

You didn't answer my questions. If your lawyer reviewed the prior case and judgment and told you that the judgment is dischargeable, it would appear that the judgment is not predicated on an act of theft; if you need clarification, as you haven't shared any of the necessary facts with us, go back and talk to your lawyer.

It just states that she won the judgment and I owe her XX amount of money. Doesnt say anything about misconduct or larceny.
