Greetings,
I live on a 2nd floor in a renting complex property in West Orange for 17 years without any incidents. Recently, there are two burglars and a shooting death crime about three block aways. To protect myself, my family and my belongings which consist of high end electronics and sentimental statues inheritance, I setup 3 external surveillance camera, clamping to the outside windows sill looking down toward my apartment main entrance, the cul de sac traffic circle and the stairs leading to the apartment building unit which consists of about 20 individual first and second floor apartment. The surveillance setting is such that the cameras trigger and sending me an alert while I am at work. The super-intendant requests that I have to take them down due to invasion of privacy complaint from my neighbors and verbal rental property policy which prohibit anything mounted on the outside. Can someone please advise what right I do have in this case?
Advance thanks for your time and help.
