Default How Can I Let the Police Know My Child is Safe

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina

My child ran away a few weeks ago but called me and said she was fine. I am okay with where she is staying. She is in a different state. How can I let the police know to stop looking for her?

So would they have to see her in person?

No, they will not insist on seeing her in person.

Withdraw the report of a missing/runaway child as she has been found and you have decided to transfer temporary custody to the adults where she turned up.
