My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: New Jersey

I paid a civil demand a few years ago for shoplifting. I did not sign any papers, I just gave them my name and address for them to send the demand. The police didn't come and I did not go to court.
Since then, I have gone through a fingerprint background check to obtain a medical license. I assumed I was clear of it since I did get my license.

Now I'm applying for jobs and I'm not feeling too confident again. Can someone clear the air for me: Will it show up?
