I was in business with my ex fiance- he put up the money for the real estate, I was the buyer of the properties ( in his name) and I managed the properties. I did this for 2 years. I had power of attorney of all the properties during this time and probably still do. We never signed a contract because when you are getting married to someone, you are suppose to beleive them, right? My mistake, I know. We purchased about 5-6 million dollars worth of commercail realestate during this time and I managed them. He told me we were partners and all the letters I wrote to the tenants were signed by me with my title as "managing partner". Is there anything I can do even though I do not have a contract, to get monies that are owed to me for my services and the profits of any properties sold?
