Default Stealing then Forging a Check

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
If you stole and forged a check and the owner of the check decided not to press charges on the basis of being paid back can he go back and decide to press charges any time he feels even if he is being paid back as verbally contracted?
Also if the owner of the check told you just get out of my home and you owe me nothing can he in the future whenever he feels decide to press charges?
    Is the last question

Default Re: Stealing then Forging a Check

If you commit a crime, you take the chance that your victim will report your crime to the police. Whether or not a repayment plan or other claimed agreement existed prior to the report, and how that might affect a decision of whether or not to prosecute, will be something that the police and prosecutor decide based on the full facts.
